Just a random post,

Just installed boost gauge and origin b2 and stuck to dash, just thought ppl might want to see it...

Yeh until i buy a nomad pillar it will do just now, just annoying cos the sticky tape on the gauge keeps coming loose!!! anybody got any suggestions? i've tried couple of diferent tapes but think there is some sort of polish on the dash board and nothing is sticking to it...

Origin is good, i've only ever been past 1 laser van in the 2 years i've owned it and it worked so 100% success rate so far

lol well when i bought it, its was £430.00 but now there £280.00 in most shops.

Money well spent i feel, when i took trip down to england, going through some of the small towns with like 3 or 4 speed camera's n would of never known they were there, so different to where i stay nearest speed camera is like 15 miles away on the motorway.

What sort of installation does the origin 2 require?

Do you think it's better than the RoadPilot?

no exprience with road pilot, but not to diffivult to install,

The cradle has wiring loom attached and basically you just need a positive, negative, then you locate the gps receiever on the dash(right in front of window best) then hide cable down front of glass, stick ther laser detector to your windscreen and also hide cable round the trim and plug all together under the dash and that pretty much it.

Try to use silicone ,use a thermal pistol (translate it from Greek , i hope is the same term to you) to melt it, a drop is enough . It is not permanent and scar free

Does at least the B2 come out? I'd be worried about them sitting on the dash together for when some brainless dickless moron walks past, takes a fancy and puts the window in to help themselves.

yeh it comes out, just lift it out the cradle.

i like the look of the boost guage too, different to the pillar, in need of one my self, will have to wait after crimbo
