Update, water methanol injection system is to be installed I'm September as 48degree intake temps are unacceptable.

I went through all my Santa pod runs and did some data analysis and comparing to the 1/4mile leaders time slip which I acquired I was ever so slightly faster than him between all checkpoints apart from up to 60ft where he seems to get amazing traction from somewhere, thats on the lower setting of revo map. On the higher setting which my car is more than capable of running usually I was much quicker than him between the different check points until 1000ft and the acceleration dies, on my logs it was pulling timing at that point as the intake temps were too great from that setting. The wmi system should help

What's worrying is the 60ft time is 0.2s slower than the leader, I know I have the power even though it isn't running perfect. It's just that 60ft. Tyre pressures maybe? I was running 30psi front but I thinking now I should have gone lower. Tyres are 595 rsr federal which are essentially semi slicks.

Forge intercooler. General driving gives around, +3 to 5 degrees and booting it gives around 10. ITs not the intercoolers fault, it's because of heat soak when queuing. the intercooler only works best after around 60ish by which point your more than over half way

Another update. Both lobas suffered oil leak problems, where the oil was pushed passed the seal towards the exhaust side. TSR assumed before loba examined them that it was a casting defect which has been known with the oem turbos that the loba is based on.

So all my plans that i had made for an alternative turbo, have gone out the window. But if anyone wants the spec of the gtx2860r turbo set up I have come up with for this engine, pm me. Spool up was very good, being able to produce an easy 300bhp at less than 1.5 bar. Very very good setup.

The plot thickens.............

...........TSR now know that there was nothing wrong with the turbos in the first place, but its high crankcase pressure in the engine causing oil to be pushed passed the seals. This is thought to be down to blow by at idle. This is because these pistons expand when warm and during load but at idle from cold or even when stood at lights, they contract slightly allowing more bow by gas. Theres no harm in having blow by aslong as it keeps compression, which it does according to tsr. The problem is that the pcv system is not up to the job of that much blowby, this pressurizes the sump which restricts oil through the oil return pipe from turbo forcing oil past the turbo seal.

Solution is to create a sump breather of sorts.

I now have 2 lobas, one of which I do not need. Im putting the older second hand loba back on which i got from hurdy. The new loba unit i purchased directly from loba because we though the old unit was faulty is up for sale. This one had only done 500miles before it was sent back to loba for inspection and testing, they replaced the oil seal on it for good measure but has got the all clear.

Little annoyed about this as i had to fork out 1.7k for this new loba which turned out to be ok and after waiting for a month for it to be sent back to me im in exactly the same position. I'll let you all know about the solution to the high crankcase pressure when i get one.

And if anyone wants a 500mile old loba hybrid in perfect working condition as confirmed by loba and with a brand new oil seal as a good will gesture, send me a pm. I paid 1.7k for it so looking for around 1k for it.
