Don't forget that you will probably have to uprate the intercooler if you uprate the turbo (is the K04 from an LCR or it it the K03s?). And IIRC Roly had a lot of grief trying to fit an intercooler to the standard mk2 bumper/front pannel

Does he know what else he needs?

I trust him mechanically, I really do, but I don't think he's the biggest exert on the 1.8T lump. Or transplatning it.

Did he not have a whooshy DV on his Golf?

Looks good theres a few 1.8t mk2's now, sorry to change subject but how hard is it to make the passat 1.8t lump fit as it mounted the other way in the passat?

Think it's different mounts with the engine fitting the other way. Be as well getting one from a Golf/Ibiza/Leon, etc. Don't think Jib's lump was too expensive.

But the driveshafts come out the wrong side of the 'box, so you'll need to look into that.

Was just curious as mate having trouble selling his passat 1.8t and or what he will let it go for i could have the engine sell the rest of car as spares and make back most of money but if its gonna be loads of hassle wont bother.
