My Leon Fr+ (new pics pg.1)

Right not posted any pics in ages so thought would put some newer ones up of the Alpine headunit and Milltek turbo back exhaust then just afew random ones.

The exhaust tailpipes had to be re-fabricated as they dont do an off the shelf system for the FR+ and the Milltek was around 3cm from were it should of been, So here are some pics of the exhaust after alittle clean

Think ive seen some pics of yours on here. What did you use to colour code the stereo surround and do you have any pics of it you coud post please??

Where in manchester are you from as been was on a job around there the other week??

im from droylsden but work in salford at renault. i used the same colour as my car to paint it my mate did it in the body shop when he did my front splitter. it comes out quite easily only about 4 screws hold it in

Hughes86 did you have the whole lot painted the same colour?? Looks smart id do the whole lot but bit worried about taking the strip between the heat controls and and radio off as not sure how much slack is behind my clifford LED and valet button

yea mate got it all done at the same time, just take the radio out first then u should be able to unplug the clifford switch, once the radio is out there is 2 screws at the side, remove the ashtray and there is one behind there. will be easy makes the dash look better

yea will look good. you could do it yourself its not hard rarther than pay someone else to do it. post some pics up when u do it. are u anywhere arnold clark renault by any chance?

Cheers craigus cheers for the comment, Its not really noticable at idle but does sound throatier under acceleration with much better turbo spool up

yea thats the one mate, thats where i got my motor from. i was after one of them exhausts but managed to get the cupra r backbox on so stuck with that, also just put a red pin stripe round the center grill. looks top, stands out mega on a silver car

You got a pic of the pin stripe?? The exhaust was a pain in the to fit as i have the cupra r rear bumper on but does look good now fitted.

Kinda kept putting off updating my thread for a while so time for some new pics of what ive done since the last batch of pics,These pics are of the front/rearwipers, debadged boot, S3 upper strut (engine cover need cutting back alittle) and the front 312mm and rear 256mm brake conversion just had done (front calipers to be painted in the next week or two to match the rears ) All comments welcome please

bought the carriers and calipers from vagparts, discs from CRN and pads from badger5

liking the brake upgrade mate, how much it cost you if you dont mind me asking as mine will all need changing soon. will post some pics of my latest mods soon
