Will look even better lower ;)

Yea apparently your meant to have self levelling headlights aswell, but I'm just gonna change mine before mot :)

Are the HIDs 8000k?

The problem is I don't know how much to lower it. My mind is set on Eibach pro springs which roughly lower 20mm/15mm as the FR's have sport suspension anyway. The sump sits low so need to be really careful and the R bumper is even lower so another dilemma. All I want is a decent rdie, with stiffer feedback with a oem feel. Can't really lower it too much as its a family car. I previously searched this forum looking for pictures of a fr tdi on Eibach pro kit and thanks to ma man cleverspoon was kind enough to upload some pics of his fr tdi on Eibach! SCN feels just like a big family!

I thought all mk1 leons have self levelling headlights? Below the headlight switch there's moveable button which allows me to adjust my lights up or down? I ask my cousin tonight and pm you mate

They 6000K....8000K is too bright. Even when I'm driving on unlit single carriageways, I get flashes to switch me lights off! No way or I might crash with no beams on lol

Mine passed the mot 2 months ago with hids, so depends where you take it tbh

You got lucky there mate as the new rule about aftermarket HID kits only came out on the 12th of November. Im glad someone owes a MOT testing garage in my family....any problems I have I rush to him and do his head in :p

Do you work in Walton? Pretty sure I've seen your motor parked in a certain carpark quite a bit! Looks tidy!

Alright bud. What happened to your front plate? I was parked up next to you earlier and it was missing! I was going to take a picture of the two Leon's side by side and post as the first unofficial Peterborough meet! :)

Took Mum and Aunt shopping (it was my day off), they saw the new shops next door and wanted to go there (typical women). They took a hour there and then another hour shopping in the food store. Got back to the car close to 7pm and found the numberplate on the floor, a bit smashed up and a tiny chip on the bumper just below where the numberplate goes. Seems like somebody parked in front of me, came too fast in the bay or aint bothered about other people cars. I never park there my self, usually park close to other members of staff. Some right git whoever it was and Im short of a tenner after buying a new plate.

B&£7ards. I was there at 5.30 and no plate, so must have been 5.00 - 5.30. Can you check CCTV now the times narrowed down?

Your right I parked up at 4.50pm and rang my friend at 5.03pm (confirmed by call history from phone). Has to be around your time but Im not too sure. As for CCTV in the car park, they don't have any! Trust me, I know as been working there for nearly 6 years. Checked the bumper this morning, 6 small chips which look like stone-marks and one chip which the paint has came off and left a nice little black mark! Got her sprayed in november too :(

That sucks balls man. I thought it was strange seeing it parked there, as your normally where I park so no one mashes it with their doors. Only reason i was at that end was cause wife was waiting in the car. She's 6 months with our baby girl and is like a pitbull at the mo - god help anyone catching eye contact, let alone hit the car with their door. Harsh about the paint dude, I guess it could have been worse and they mashed your light or grille in. Will have to get something on it so it doesn't start peeling and cracking with the crappy weather. I've got 1/2 maybe 1/3 can of clear lacquer you can use to spray over to seal. Not sure if that would help or make things worse but youre welcome to it, if it will seal the chip and stop it getting worse? No idea??!!? Prob best to talk to a body shop that knows what they're talking about! Either that or trip to nearest Lambo dealer for a touch up pen! :(
