After seeing Gaz7's work on his charge pipe and his recommendation of using VHT Wrinkle Plus paint, I thought I'd give it a go on my manifold. It was the one part of the engine bay that still looked grubby. Anyway, here's the results of the VHT.

Once again, thanks to Gaz7.

And a before and after.

Had a parcel delivered this morning and decided to get straight down to fitting it! So it was off with the front bumper and this was the reason why a change was needed.....

I'm guessing at some point in its life, the car had an altercation with a variety of animal perhaps?
I turned the bumper onto its front and found that someone else had botched a go at repairing the grill.

So with the glue removed, I offered up the new grill to the old one.

New grill fitted into place, but as the connecting tabs were missing from the botch job, I've had to do the same myself. So as it stands it's sat in the garage drying ready to be fitted back on to the car tomorrow!

Amazing thread, going to use this as inspiration to start mine soon too

Have to admit that i am a spreadsheet geek too, and even have filters for "essential" "aesthetic" and "performance" :wtf:

Looking forward to keeping up to date with it!
