just took delivery of my new scorpion cat back system, plan to fit it at the weekend, is it fairly easy to fit?

i fitted the exhaust on my C2 GT and my saxo VTR, so i take it this will be also similar?

am i likely to have any problems?

just check the rubber mountings are in good condition, if they arent you'll need to order new ones directly from seat as they arent just standard rubbers, they have a metal bracket incorporated into them that bolts to the underside of the car so best to renew them now while your doing the job, cost me 30quid for all excluding the very front one which i thought was pointless at the engine holds it up that end

i am looking at getting one of these hopefully next month, let me know how you get on, and what it sounds like, if you could get some video's etc that would be great but if you cant dont worry?

Just got this system fitted to my car this weekend!!
What a difference!! The sound is excellent!!!
Nice rumble when cruise then boot it and when boost comes in HELL breaks loose!!

What does this system sound like then mate? i've just bought one and hope to fit it soon. Did you have to replace any of the rubbers in the end?

doesnt look as good as my full 3'' downpipe/race cat blueflame system..... sorry i had to say that:whistle:

fitted mine last weekend on the drice, the hardest bit is getting the old one off, art from tat its plai sailing, but if its lowered then the exhaust will catch on the rear beam, i just put a slight flat spot on it to help clearance.its got a nice rumble to it, but at crusing speeds not too bad but when you hitthe loud pedal it sounds lush.

I think someone's been stealing some of your letters!

Glad it sounds nice mate, an exhaust can make or break a car i think, if its too loud and sounds crap, i aint at all interested in the car.

Piccies?

sorry about that, i'm at work so having to type this whilst no ones looking, if you know what I'm saying ;) i'll take some pics this wekend when i give her a wash and post them up.

tell me about it, no one else in this part of the office at the moment everyone else is out on site. Just me and the net, bored and scanning vag inspired site.
