Well I've got over 5000 miles now on my ibiza 1.2 TSI SC.

still wildly in love with it. There's very little I don't like about this car. In fact scratching around in the bottom of the barrel I can list a few things but in general I think it's a brilliant car.

1) I'm a short arse when I sit down (long legs short body) so the non adjustable seat belt height on the SC tends to strangle me even with the seat adjusted up quite high.

2) The bluetooth doesn't support audio streaming - (another whole story....)

3) There's not much headroom in the rear, though legroom seems fine.

And that's about it really.

Things I love:

The looks - of course!

The seats are very comfortable and supportive and don't seem to stain easily -spilt diet coke (Grr husband in trouble) seemed to disappear without carpet cleaner!

The boot is a very decent size for a car of it's type and not having a spare wheel means I realised that I can chuck small stuff like snowsocks etc into the gap under there and keep the boot tidy. The boot is wider and deeper than the one in my old ibiza 5DR.

That engine. The 1.2TSI is a beaut!! So happy with it! It hasn't used a drop of oil yet either.

Handling - very good too - much better than my Mk4.

Economy - well for me I'm getting about 37mpg average on my commute - perhaps a bit lower than I'd hoped but as I'm having fun with it I'm probably not driving the most economical way. It's at least 5mpg more economical on the same run than my old 1.4 was though so I'm getting about 40-50 more miles out of a tankful. On a longer run though it'll do 400 miles on a tank without problem and if I cruise at 50mph it will do over 55mpg.

Yep it was the day for it. Shame that at work all the car-parking spaces are under trees so you get the damned bird shite or if not that sap at certain times of year. Hopefully the Collinite will protect a bit against that. IT's damned good stuff... if it did make my arm ache applying it today.
