Hi Andy! Yes at long last, I'm home!!! Thanks mate :) she's in for her first MOT, 30k service and the bonnet soundproofing is getting replaced under warranty all on Tuesday then hopefully I shall be fitting my new headlights when I get her back. Next time I'm around Cosford I will definitely give you a shout!!

So now I'm home, she's had an MOT, service, bonnet felt replaced, a recall issue sorted and my sexy new bi-xenon headlights fitted! All in just 6 days since I returned from the desert :D Some pics...

Hi greg,

Just wondering if the FR front bumper you got came with the Cupra style black insert or if you had it done (the bit around the number plate).

Not trying to make my car look like a Cupra just prefer the look (had planned to put the FR badge back on).

Cheers

Damo

I popped it out dude for painting. It's only held on by plastic clips and the numberplate screws, very easy to pull apart just be careful to not flex the lower honeycombe as it is easily broken... strong fingers is required :p

Ahh right, I was just going to get it Vinyl Wrapped. Is it a bumper off jobby to get it off or can it be taken off by itself? (not something I'm worried about, swapping bodywork is something I've done before just not on a Seat)

So i had the car on the rollers today at EcoTune in Hillington (Glasgow) who are renowned for being brutally honest. I was surprised that the car managed to do better than I expected and the best of 3 runs peaked a 153.5bhp, 245 ft/lbs torque :D Not bad for a stage one REVO map and a panel filter!

No need to remove the bumper, it is removable in situ which is very handy! I'd be a bit weary of getting it wrapped though, especially this close to winter! Stone chips would wreck it :(!

Oh right, I'd of thought some decent wrap would stand up to stone chips, the stripes on my MINI have lasted 7 years
