My Rolling Road Suprise

I have had my cupra nearly two weeks, and i thought id would get a power run sorted just to see what sort of power shes putting out.

I moved from a car with 170 bhp to the cupra, and to be honest it didt feel to different power wise except for the lag sometimes! Thought it may have been a bit too quick for a 156bhp STANDARD car....

190.8 bhp and 182lbft of Torque

Was pretty pleased as you can imagine, but christ knows what map it has. The guy operating the dyno said the torque on it was really good as it stays constant from low revs right the way throuhg the rev range, and only tails off at the very end.
So all in all pretty damn pleased

Nope deffo not a R ecu, apparently the last two letters on the ecu are AB and mines an AA code....

I was just going to say R ecu. Low torque figure for any other 'tuners' map

I did think the torque should have been a little higher concidering its obviously been fannied around with.

What a reasonable figure to expect from a re map usually?

you should expect to see a lot more torque from a remapped one

depends who mapped it, but i wouldnt say thats standard....or maybe its the famous dyno lottery!!

Ahhh thats the 2nd cupra thats been ran at WRC now, i went there a few months ago when i just had my remap cat back and modded air box, i made 196bhp with 230lbs/ft, Chris and alan are really cool guys and know there stuff, What cars did they have in there? was the monero VXR still there having its twin turbo conversion? This is my results as said with a Miltek cat bk Forge007p and a modified airbox with green cotton filter and Revo stg1.
