What do you guys reckon on the value of the following:

MY02 Leon Cupra in Black Magic, totally standard with the following extras:

Electric Leather Seats
Leather Arm Rest
'LEON' Matts

38k - just had 40k/4yr service
Full SEAT service history
5 months MOT
6 months Tax
6 months SEAT Warranty
18 months SEAT roadside assistance

What would you advertise at/accept?

still, not too worried about p/ex values. They all depend on the car you're trying to buy and the margin the salesman has to play with.

just wanna know what joe public might be prepared to pay...

well if the dealers are going 6-7 you can probally get 7-8.5 if ur lucky for an 03

gotto bear in mind the drop in new ones.

people on here are selling 04 and 05 lcrs for 15 to 15.5 but i can walk into a dealer and get one with del miles for 15.5 so why would i pay 15 for a year old one!!

its worth what people will pay, u could alwayts advertise it see if u get some offers?

Means my 52plate with higher mileage is worth SH*T part-ex then... lucky I dont want to get rid!

also, just to note, a mk1 escort from 1975ish can fetch up to 5k on ebay and the likes, makes no sense that a 2yr old car with much less mileage is worth less!

paul its lame a few months after i brought mine a dealer was offering me 10k part ex on and LCR so i lost 3.5k in like 3 months

gotto keep it at least another 12-18 months to make the deprecaition spread.

reckon i can sell her for 6k in mar 07 maybe meaning id have had her 3 yrs but 4 yrs old and cost me 2500 a year in dep.

Best thing to do is wait a couple of months if you have an LCR. There are only a few left now so when they are gone the demand will hold the price higher. Also rememebr that the current stock has absolutely no optional extra at all, and although you never get all your money back on extras, it does make it more attractive come sale time.

all too aware that something is only worth what a buyer is prepared to pay!

just canvassing opinion, wanted to know whether the numbers i have in my head are real world. as with everything money related, there is a bottom line but hopefully the 'peace of mind' the SEAT warranty offers should make it an attractive enough proposition.

Reckon i'll pitch in at £7750 and see how silly the offers are!

Nah that's just Kings trying to stitch me.. I have far better offers since.. Kings Sales dept suck. Parts dept are ok.
