Mystery holes exposed after changing carpet

Hi all. I have just been changing my Exeo STs carpet due to some battery acid damage, but after installing the new carpet I noticed some exposed bolt holes / trim clips in the front footwell and behind the front seat rails. Any ideas what these are for?

total guess but as the shell was origionally A4 maybe there were differeent seat options, maybe an option that had full electric motors that required different length seat runners?
