Mystery screw/bolt.

New to SEAT ownership. Previous long term Fabia VRS owner (2005-2023).

Found on my first inspection of the engine bay in my new car. (2025 Mk6 Ibiza 1.0 TSi FR 95).
Any ideas where I should be looking for a hole for it?

Bolt, 5.4mm head across faces, 5.8mm thread (digital calipers), 26, 27mm long. Thread lock on it. Was found in the plastic drainage tray/scuttle area, near the near side suspension turret.

ECU security shear-bolt for the metal cage over the ECU itself. Left as a gift by whoever built your car...

Thank you James. That would be the thingy, indeed. I will investigate with a torch tomorrow.

The top breaks off once the correct torque has been achieved, so they'll look like this
