Mystery wire.....

When I was removing all the crappy plastic from round the airbox on the Ibiza earlier, I noticed a connector that wasn't plugged into anything...

It's in the drivers side front wing, just behind the headlights. Black connector with 2 wires going into it.....

I know the guy removed the 'speaker' from the alarm/immlobiliser as he couldn't stop it going off.... so I'm thinking this might be the connector for it....

Anyone else got any ideas ?!?

Anyone with a Mk2 2.0 8v that can have a look for me ?!?

checked the 'speaker' that the guy disconnected from the alarm, and it's got the right size connector on it.

Will try reconnecting it tomorrow and see if it works !!

Be a bit careful, there are extra wires on most looms for sensors that your engine may not have.
