mystery wires...?

ive got extra wires just hanging out of my wiring loom.

one is a 2 pin clip type that comes out of the drivers side wiring loom for the lights and is fed under the alternator towards the distributor but doesnt reach it.

another one is a single pin orange/brown push on wire thats the same as the black one ontop of the oil filter sensor thing?

final one has been cut, right next to the air filter. its for a temperature sensor for the air inlet, cant be sure though as its quite long.

any ideas?

thats one wire crossed off the list. what about the wire 2 pin clip from the offside loom above the charcoal filter?

one set of the wires is possibly the AC (chances are you dont have that, either )

you will find a lot of different unused cables/connections in many car looms. cheaper for manufacturers to make up a complete loom to cover all specs/countrys than to make up all different individual ones.

if its a fairly chunky plug down in the drivers headlight area could be the standard 'alarm' plug for the alarm horn

is there 2 sensors on the intake pipe, one for MAF and one on the side of the airbox?

its one that goes into one of these sockets thats got nowt to go into.

i just plugged it into a new sensor and it shows up on dash as -40*c? got new airbox with temp sensor and wire for the cut wire. that brown single pin goes into the oil filter block on the 2e engines.

I wonder if I will have the wiring somewhere in my car for the cigarette lighter? .

As the fuse for it is in the fusebox and there is a wire coming from the back of it.

yes you will. I once fitted a cig lighter to a 1995 CLS, loom is still behind the dash.

managed to bodge on a new intake air temp sensor so that faults no longer on diagnosis but now i got lamda sensor error code on?

Where is it roughly behind the dash?? I just need a rough idea where to start looking.
