Looks like you had fun mate, I had a blast there myself on the 29th August. How much is it costing the LEON owner then? They charge you for all sorts if you crash there right? here are a few spy pics of mine in action at the ring.

LOL, aint that the truth. What sort of time did you manage round the ring? My best i could do was 10 minutes and 15 seconds roughly.

LOL. that was also my first ever time but hit that time on the third lap I did. Got 4 laps but only managed to do 3 before packing up and driving back to our hotel. best fun I have ever had in my entire life and will definately be doing it again.

Glad you had a good time! Your lucky your Dutch insurance covers you for the ring. Us Brits are not insured on the ring so if we crash were in the ****!My best time is 9 m ins dead.

Dutch insurance officialy isn't going to pay if you say it's the Nurburgring.
But only one company does and thats the one which I'm insured with :)

If your insurance company could insure us lot over here they would have some very good business but in reality i know this isn't possible:(

That's the problem with the ring. You think you know it and BAM! it bites you when you don't expect it. I've done around 600 laps over the last 12 years and never underestimate the chance of an accident.

The Nurburgring is very addictive! I go every year and would go more if money was no issue. Seeing your photo's of the Autobahn and the circuit makes me want to go back there asap. I managed 8:50 when I lapped this year. It's a shame that someone crashed, I'm impressed that the insurance will pay out for it too! Must have been bad if the 'Ring costs were 7k!
