Hi all,

I've spent ages reading all the threads on the N75 valve, & I've learned a lot  , but I still have a couple of questions I couldn't find a definitive answer to.

Is the 'F' variant the standard one on all 1.8t engines, or just the Leon Cupra?

Would a faulty one always throw up a fault code on VAG-COM?

What are the symptoms of a faulty one?

& lastly, why is a new one £43 inc from SEAT & £56 from VW & Audi ? (Rhetorical question btw)

Thanks in advance,
Robbo

faults can manifest themselves in a very shakey boost with buffeting as if you were driving into a strong wind.
engine light might come on, mine didnt when rechipped.

mmmm... thanks brendy, I think I know what you mean. My LC seems very flat & hesitant below about 3.5k, then seems to surge after that. I'm suspecting N75, or a boost leak somewhere. Fitted new Forge 007p and it's a bit smoother, but hasn't cured the prob.

Cheers,
Robbo

Im getting the same, the cars nervious until 3-4k then pulls hard. Other treads point to dodgy coilpacks? If you get the chance to replace the N75 please update us :)

Just had seat replace my N75 on my LCR 225 under Warranty (after 12k miles)and it has made huge differences. Previously the car had a surge of boost at around 2200rpm then faded after and never really came back to full boost. Especially if my foot was flat from 2k. Now it runs like a dream.

Currently been changing between green panel/oem and 007p / bosch. Seems to run best with green and bosch! ( WTF !! )

So get the N75 done if you're having troubles it makes the car feel like new again
