Popped out last night to do some logging as I was a bit bored....

First Log - Blocks 002,004 and 115.

N75 duty look a little low? I'm pretty sure that it should be nearer 95% lower in the rev range?

The 'slightly' low MAF readings had me thinking....why isnt my K03 flowing as well as others with similar mods...My first thoughts led me to my RamAir induction kit.....could this be a bottleneck??

Now I know that sucking in hot air isnt a good thing but for the sake of ruling the restriction I thought what the hell.

A few runs later with the alu 'can' slightly loosened (around 1" of the filter exposed to the engine bay) and my peak MAF figures are closer to 160g/s :confused: Bearing in mind that the air sucked from the engine bay is going to be less dense than the 0*c air outside.....

If I get chance tomorrow I'm gonna try a few logs with the standard airbox back on....then again with the airbox smoothed.

Any thoughts / comments?

If you do a few runs over and over again, and show by having the cover off shows a higher MAF value and the inlet temps/cf values dont get higher it might be worth pursuing.

More g/s doesnt always mean more bhp. The turbo could be flowing more air, but it could be hotter = bad.

i would say on all the range the requested boost is achieved so there's no need for more exhaust gas to go to the turbo, when boost build up it should go to 95% but i don't think you have a serious problem (maybe a stage 2 charasteristic?).

what are your sps3 settings ?

you could bump up the boost with the sps3 and your n75 duty will be higher as the boost also should.

your log seems good :thumbup: , i have already seen higher maf values on mine (with lower boost), or some others ibiza, but speaking about mine i have a problem : the delivered boost does not match the required boost and the n75 duty cycle stay at 95% all the way :lol: so i don't think my results are worthwhile.
