Tyres. Im in need of 2 new tyres. The backs will be going on the front but i had a look at a couple of reviews on the albeit ****star named Nankangs and they seemed very good value for money.

As i dont do any trackdays and the only hard time my car gets is the odd spirited drive these should be ok right?

Thanks.

i used to sell laods of nankangs ns2 and they were rock hard and lasted for ages. majoirty of them were for low powered cars. Not sure what they would be like on a faster car.

they are a budget tyre tbh i'd stay away.

with tyres its worth getting decent ones in my opinion, could be a life saver one day.

yeah, as above really. avoid :p

FK452s are very good value for money, and aren't complete arse.

got them on my 182, ok in the dry but plain dangerous in the wet, avoid !

i've just bought a set of Hankook V12's, they seem to be getting great reviews and are a decent price

Had them on the rear of my cordoba (previous owner had put them on) they were mediocre in the dry and when the backend stepped out without provocation in the wet they quick went. AVOID at all costs.

I'm running Vredestein Sessanta's and currently can't say a bad word about them not available though in all sizes. Not fantastic in the snow but great in normal UK conditions,

nice one Lee, i know a couple of people that have used them and they've been very impressed so i'm looking forward to seeing if they live up to it

i heard yoko's are soft n good in dry but wear quick n not the best in wet.
not tried them though.
i had fk452's on my fez n they were alright good price too.

I can win this arguement for the worst tyre ever!

I needed a new tyre today and as the bank blance is way low i got a budget tyre on my front right to replace my borderline legal Contisport. The tyre they put on and charged me £65 for is a joke, less grip than my fully worn Conti and the name of this crappy tyre is.........Autogrip! Horrible.

Will be getting replaced on payday, think i am going to be going for the fk452's as all tyres are getting worn.

i've had nankangs on a previous car and had no problems with them. wasn't on a car as powerful as the leon though...

the company is frickin huge!

I've had nankang ns2's in the past, thought they were alright. Not great, but then you get what you pay for. Never had a problem with them, wet or dry
