Nasty smell when running from cold

Any idea what this is. A chemical sort of smell.

Never had a diesel before so I presume it's something to do with the TDi or the DPF.

Just diesel fumes without the added soot, so the smells different than say fumes you smell from a truck (which is hidden by the soot smell)

This is my first diesel car and that smell makes me sick. Especially now in the winter when i have brush the snow away from the back of the car

Yes ive had this smell from new as well. I just took it was part and parcel of having the dpf
