I don't know the cupra but at least on FR and below you have to activate that feature via VCDS. It's not on the car's menu.

It was working on the 280 I drove, and the car had not been prepared for use officially, so I presume it was set on as standard, like my Honda 1000.

Yes has to be activated via VCDS, did mine recently through someone I know, it's a great little touch.

Also activated the lap timer, fuel remaining and alarm chirp.

It's definitely activated on the Mk3 Cupra, I can confirm that as our car does it. Wasn't on my old Mk2, but I enabled it via VCDS.

Does needle sweep every time I start the car, Cupra 290DSG, 2016 seems to be a feature with the car, I guess you can enable this under VAC Com?

It is actually refuel quantity (the amount you need to put in to fill the tank) rather than fuel remaining in the tank.

Aww cheers pal. Just heard on another thread about obdeleven and how it allows needle sweep im hoping it allows for these extra changes too!

Needle sweep is standard on the Cupra 290. Possibly can be activated through VAG COM, why would you want though, vanity, ego?, doesn't do anything! Looks good for about 2 seconds!
