I agree , in the case with craigs friend it has had a new bigger intercooler fitted and that could possibily be at fault , or its related pipework.

But considering most of the cars out there that have this problem only have the problem after a remap alone and not only when fitted with a bigger intercooler.

It leaves the software/remap at fault since most cars were 100% perfect running as standard on standard software.

What im trying to say is, if the car is as above. 100% b4 remap.

By altering the remap/tuned software using DAMOS to find the deviation value this can iliminate the fault ever repeating its self.

something most tuners dont use or are intrested in using.

i disagree, the increased boost from the remap will 'find' the weak points in crappy OE hosing and 'cause' leaks that were not present or sufficient to throw a fault under stock boost levels.

not saying the map can't cause this fault, but it's the last place to look IMO.

I'm glad Custom Code use Damos as a reference then :)

But the car in question in the start of this thread was not remaped by custom code.

I see your point tho, and it is obviousley not going to be ealsy answered on the forum as you stated in a previous post.

Car was on the borders of actual v's requested been out before the intercooler, now it seems that the drop caused by the intercooler (no metter how small) is causing this problem, there for it must be the software.

All hoses and hardware are new, and still the problem persists. The map's never been right for the car from day one as it was a custom chip off somone elses car using different parts.
