My car will not connect to my home internet! In the Wi-Fi settings it shows a small world with a line through it! No Internet, and when I check, a message comes up on the screen, This Network security settings are not supported. As my last car connected to my Internet no problem,
Is this a problem with my car's ability to connect, and not my TalkTalk Wi-Fi?

What security are you using? WPK-AES or TKIP? Whatever it is, change it for the other!

Thanks. But it must be the car's software, as my Peugeot 3008 connected to my internet wi-fi connection, no problem at all.
It's possible Cupra is requiring higher level of network security and your network uses older spec which is less secure.

My car connects ok to BT router with WPA2 authentication on wifi. You may have to fiddle with your router settings and find one that works with the car.

Hi I checked and my WI-FI and is (WPA2 Personal) I think that is the latest version, so you would think my car could allow it to work? don't see any way of changing my router settings?

Does your Router give out 2.4ghz and 5ghz or is it just 5ghz/2.4ghz? Does the car require 2.4ghz like washing machines etc do or is it ok with either?

I think my router runs on both bands, 2.4 and 5ghz. I do think it's my cars software as I had no problem with connecting to my last car a Peugeot 3008
