Hi, guys Im after a CAI for my 2007 Leon Cupra and I've seen a Neuspeed one for a MkV VW Golf GTI (200bhp version) for sensible money.

Does anyone know if this would be a direct fit for my Cupra or would I need to modify it some way? If so how?

TIA

Nope, it wouldnt, as K04 based engines have an extra pipe which goes to the remote diverter valve.

just out of curiosity , i have seen on a lot of golf mk5's where our extra pipe goes to the dump valve on the cupra they have a black plactic squarish pipe whats that?

also the 2.5 that the us guys run in their gti do they have the K04 turbo?.

The squarish pop you refer to is prbably the noise maker pipe for the cabin.

The US GTI is the same engine as over here. The 2.5 is the NA engie in the Rabbit (Golf)

have we got that on the Cupra?
i thought the 2.5 was forced induction
didnt think vag did a 2.5 engine anyway , seems a bit strange to have it just for US market?
