As the title says, i'm missing the boc so i'm considering getting a new cupra but cant help think about the oil probs i had with my 2010 car. Thought about a fiesta st also but cant decide.
s
oil problems sorted as of late 2010 early 2011 models with newer engine.
I had a late 2010 Cupra which used about a litre of oil every 2000 miles, recently I changed it for the 2013 facelift Cupra which so far hasn't used a drop (2100 miles in)
Overall the new Cupra seems a bit more refined, as if every bolt on the car has been given another quarter twist, and the gearbox seems more responsive perhaps it's the change in software which increases the 0-60 time from 7.2 - 6.9
Its reducesand the only thing that reduced that time was marketing, both standard/FL can do quicker than 7.2/6.9

On the oil front, I think its guna be pot luck but 11 plate and on should be less of a problem.
I was about the say the same, pre-FL push quicker than taht anyway standard so i would read into that too much.
I thoguht the FL's were down on standard kit?
They have additional kit, which is reflected in the price. I.e auto lights / wipers and bi xenon & sat nav
They do come pretty well kitted out as standard now. Xenons, Bluetooth, satnav (portable system), cruise control, climate control, auto lights, auto wipers etc.
While the list price is higher, if you haggle you can pick one up with met paint for about £15.5K which is fair value.
