Well after a few years away I today returned to SEAT putting a deposit down on a Cupra R ST in Blackness Grey.
Previously had :
Leon Mk2 FR PD170 that I applied a BTCC kit onto along with RS4 style 19's
Leon Mk2 Cupra K1
Within the Family we have had an Altea and have been running an Ibiza since 2011.
I did look at the Cupra R ST when new but couldn't beat the dealers down to the price I wanted.
Ended up jumping in a Reno R280 fully loaded ex RenaultSport UK promotional car and only on 640 miles, for alot less money.
Reno was a great car but sadly it got rammed off the road with a 50mph drop kick, and written off earlier this year.
So I was forced into looking for another car. Anotheher Reno was really out of the question due to yhe spec of mine being so high. I wasnt prepared to pay more money for less spec. I was also tempted to spend alot more money this time and move up a step on the ladder.
But in the end i slipped on the comfortable slippers and stuck with SEAT and also put £10K back in my pocket.
Should be picking up the new family member Monday. Then will crack on with detailing it and speaking to Racingline.
