First off hi, I've been browsing the forum a bit as I'm finally in a position to upgrade from my 2005 Leon 1M to a new Mk3 Leon. What I've noticed in the August 2018 pricelist for the Leon is that Monsoon Grey is no longer listed and instead there is a Magnetic Grey. I'm wondering if anyone has a picture of a Leon in this new grey colour as I'm not having much luck on Google. I was a big fan of the Monsoon Grey and it was always the colour I wanted the Leon in but at least from the small image in the pricelist it appears the new grey is more along the lines of the Rhodium Grey seen on the Ateca with a noticeable blue tint which I'm not keen on. But it's hard to make an opinion from such a small image.

You can see the colour options on page 12 of the August 2018 pricelist: https://web1.seat.co.uk/sites/default/files/seat_ra_file/leon-pricelist-august-2018-v2.pdf

Thanks beddin90, certainly seems to have a similar blue/purple hue as the image in the price list. Still hard to tell with all the lights & reflections in the video but I think I might have to decide between desire red or nevada white.

No eclipse orange?! Unsure what this means for anyone in the same boat as me that’s ordered an orange Cupra?!

Anyone heard anything from their dealer.

Doesn’t look good.

:banghead2 Damn. I’ll be expecting that call then! What did you change to? My next choice would have been monsoon grey.. typical
I received this email earlier after emailing CS after thinking it was odd that an accepted order now had to be amended! I have since sending the original email confirmed that the colour change has not affected the original order acceptance date and the wait for the car!

Thank you for your contacting us.

I was concerned to learn of the confusion regarding order reference 28**********. I can confirm the order has not been rejected, however, it is currently subject to a build delay due to an unprecedented demand for the Seat Leon Cupra ST. Therefore, we do not have a confirmed build date at this time. We are receiving weekly updates from the Factory as they attempt to secure increased production capacity.

With regards to the paintwork, I can confirm that Eclipse Orange is no longer a colour option for this model and this order has been re-tagged as Mystery Blue. If you wish to change this colour option, please contact your selling SEAT Dealership and request they amend the order through our Brand Support Team. The order can be amended until such time as the build week is confirmed. Therefore, I would advise making amendments as soon as possible, if required.

The current SEAT Leon Cupra ST colour palette is:

Desire Red/Mystery Blue/Midnight Black/Monsoon Grey/Mediterranean Blue/Urban Silver/Nevada White.

I trust that you find this information useful. Should you have any further questions, please call me on the telephone number below.

Kind regards

I want to read between the lines and say that the underlined bit gives renewed hope but would go more with don't count your chickens its anytime soon!!!

You win some, you lose some, right? :roflmao:
Gutted about the orange not being possible. Interesting to see the email says you can have monsoon grey still when the brochure now offers Magnetic Grey instead!

Hopefully we’ll get them before the year is out!

We called CS as we haven't been told what is happening with our eclipse orange order.

We have also been told that we need change colour as well, but this needs to be done via the lease company. I am a bit miffed as we paid extra to get the orange and I cant understand the reason to remove this option :( the only thing keeping me sane is that we get the winter pack free as it will be a MY19 car.

As an aside it make my username pointless :censored:

I liked the deep red from pre facelift but wanted a facelift model and wasn't keen on the new red.

I had a MK3 FR in Emocion Red and loved it. Looking at the Desire Red on the Configurator it looks Pants...However in the light of day it looks the business. So much do that I got a Cupra in Desire Red over Mystery Blue and I love it.
