well i dont think they would offer much of an improvement over standard , so what else are you paying for?
I've not driven a Cupra with Brembos, but I've had two cars with them fitted.
For what you have to pay for them, I was'nt impressed at all.
Yes they do stop you quite well, but you really have to stamp on the pedal to do so- initial feel is quite lacking in feedback.
I much prefer the feel of the Cupras brake pedal, & I have to say, IMO they offer just as much stopping power as the Brembos I've had in the past. If not more.
I can't see why everyone is getting worked up about the brakes TBH, if it stops in the same distance, & can keep brake fade to a minimum like the Brembos can, then why bother?
Just to look cool in front of your mates?
I'd also bet the standard calipers are a tad lighter than the 4/6 piston Brembos, giving a lighter unsprung weight?
Not mentioning the brake squeel associated with Brembos when cold.
