I wonder how long it will be before they drop the Cupra?
You don't need a 210ps 240ps and a 265ps all in the same range.
I'm sure they did this with the previous Leon e.g Cupra first then a Cupra R and dropped the Cupra once all produced had been sold.

dont think they will mate , i read somewhere that the Cupra R will only be available in limited numbers to start , 100 rings a bell.

Seat also said that when they introduced the 210 Cupra R and the 225 Cupra R.
Can't remember the exact numbers quoted but it is a good sales ploy to make people think they are getting a limited edition special!
Nothing as yet, I have given SEAT a prod though, their last chatter on the Cupra indicated it would be sometime this month but things slip get moved about in the car industry.
There are still a few days left in November.
No UK price as yet has been set, but likely such info won't be too long off. Have been told the best estimate for UK arrival is currently March 2010.

I think the market as a whole is afraid for sales figures, especially as scrappage is probably going to end and the VAT goes back upto 17.5% in New Year. So they are likely being cautious and production at Martorell is already running at half its usual capacity.

Was at least hoping to be able to order it before January with the slim hope of it being available for March - seems Seat are forgetting it's UK market as they've been able to order it in Spain since October
How's that possible then if Seat haven't released official figures then??
Any garage would of course be more than willing to take a deposit of people but doesn't mean it will be a "proper" order
Funny enough I just tried it now and got this polite error message from SEAT 'FB0164 VALIDATION ERROR IN THE NAME OF THE TRADE COMMERCIAL DENOMINATION EXCLUDED IN THOSE DATES'
I.E No it can't be ordered
Gonna make some calls to see if I can get anymore insight in to when we can order it.
