New Cupra280 owner

New member from South Wales.

We picked up our Leon Cupra280 earlier today .a good drive home and I'm really impressed with the car.

I have loads of reading to do it would appear to get to grips with the various configuration and menu options.

I also need to verify if someone has nicked the subwoofer out of the boot. There is a plaque on the drivers front door speaker saying "Seat Sound" and I can feel the center dash speaker working.

I haven't had a chance to do any digging around in the boot for the connector.

It's a 2015 model registered in June of 15. Does anybody know how I can check the cars specification from the factory?? Did all "Seat Sound" systems come with a subwoofer?

Anyway, I'll have a search and see what I can find. It's been a long time since a car has made me smile as much as this

Just lift the floor of the boot and if you have a spare wheel with a subwoofer in it bingo. If not it’s been taken

whilst you are in the boot there will be a white sticker with lots of codes that tell you what the factory spec was.

It's definitely not there will go and see what codes are on the white sticker to ascertain what options were specified.

Code relating to speakers is 8RM which is designated as - 8 speakers passive. Alas it would appear I don't have the Seat Sound system..... just the speaker grill badge.

thats annoying. was it advertized as having seat sound if so you should ask for a discount. you can retrofit i seem to recall. do you hav the spare wheel.

It wasn't advertised as having it but I saw the Seat Sound badge and thought I'd bagged a 'freebie', no worries though but very odd that someone would bother putting the badge on.....

well you have a great car anyway and if you want to you can do a retro fit

check out the links page in my signature and you will find some usefull stuff about the car including seat manuals

Just checked mine and its 9VL, I guess it depends on what else comes with that package.
