My SE-Lux has a USB connector in the glovebox and appears to have a lesser model stereo to yours. It reads MP3s off a USB stick okay, but got confused by my android phone. Although the phone said "Charging" when I plugged it in, it only "Charged" when the radio was on and the charge rate was so low the phone still lost charge.

I've got a double USB adaptor in, it works well enough although I don't like where the socket is. Not a big deal though
