New Gearbox Required For MK2 1.6 Petrol 5 Speed

So recently I’ve broken my gearbox completely and require a new one. It is seeming difficult to find a reasonably priced GVY gearbox from another 1.6 Petrol 2006 MK2 Leon.

I was just wondering if there are any other gearboxes that would be compatible with my car so that the search for a gearbox can be easier?

My opinion is to find the exact gearbox that your car has. Your engine torque graph goes together with the gearbox. Tfsi is different way different. Diesel has more torque than petrol. Because you can install a different gearbox doesn't mean it will work efficiently like it should.. for example.
