New Leon - don't know what this is in interior??

... The other strange thing is, on the Golf the button pushing is the other way round.

I had the Leon for 3 weeks before I realised I was not dead locking the car when I leave it.

are you sure? many many people have been disabling deadlocks when they thought that were activating them.. it makes no sense to pay for and go to the effort of manufacturing a car to have deadlocks - to then set it so they are de-activated as default and as a result 99% of cars are not protected by the deadlocks.

Can’t be 100% sure now as I no longer have the Golf but if it is the same as the Leon then you’re right that I have not been dead locking the Golf’s doors for 3 years.

Doh! I've been deactivating the dead locks on both Seats and the Skoda then for the last 5 years!

Ditto!! In order to save face I would like to suggest that it was the Seat Dealer who sold me the car that told me to click it twice...
