Well the postman delivered my yellow tint film from lamin-x this morning thought i had better crack on with tinting the front fogs, I know it is a kinda marmite mod and no doubt there will be peolple who dislike it but i think it just makes it a little different from the other fr's on the road.

It was a simple mod to carry out taking an hour MAX to complete the job, if there is any interest i will gladly write a "how to" :)

Cheers Fellas:worship:

Pleased it's not just me that likes it!!

I like it too :)
Have you been stopped for that plate yet? I was, ANPR cameras don't like them :(

No Danny, Had no bother of the rozzers as yet mate, I have past plenty but up here in the N.E they are fairly leaniant aslong as they are not iligaly spaced or chavvy font!

i like that is it easy to do?

Mega easy mate, Both in application and fitting.

Yeuch. Hideous :rifle:

But each to their own. Looks like lots of peeps like faux "1970 french car" yellow lights :D

Back on topic, I dont like them in yellow, smoked may look good as would blend in with the grilles etc.
And marmite is dark coloured..........dammit was trying to resist going ot.
Seriously, if you like them then its your car.

For the amount of times that it's foggy enough to warrant using fog lights, is it worth the hassle??

i like mate want to do my ibiza even through my car is yellow i think gives nice styleing how much was the tint plus how do you get it to shape around the fog lenses with creasing

I was thinking about doing this the other day, I think it looks good, and for the price of some tint film (£3???) it's a cheap mod that if you don't like you can easily take it off.
I bought some carbon vinyl last week for 99p delivered off eBay and I've done my front S badge, looks amazing and similar to this mod, easy to return back to standards.

It was about a tenner delivered mate, I have tried various films in the past and lamin x is by far the best imho http://www.lamin-x.co.uk/gallery.htm ;) There is all you need to know about the application on there mate.

Totaly agree, it's totaly reversable so if come sale time you want to return to stock it's an easy option

Would look really good if all the front lights were done with it on a yellow car. Is it legal on the headlights?

Nath, not ilegal as far as im aware mate, my mate is running it on his lights on his mk4 for years without incident.
