Hello seat cupra world :)

I'm Sam from Reading, I'm 22 and work in the live event industry as a production engineer!

Picked up my first Seat Leon 2 weeks ago and absolutely love it!! Needs some tidying up and obviously want to make it my own but very much enjoying this beautiful car!! Do you have a couple of questions but will show you her first... (Well I would if I was allowed... According to this app I have to wait for 15 posts) :/ will try and get on pc to change it!

It's an Irish import but registered in the UK I've just topped her over 99k miles. I currently live as I said just outside reading a village called Woodley, but also travel back to where I grew up in Somerset so would love to come to some meets where ever!

Questions for those that might be able to answer...

~ the new facelift 2012 Leon.. Do the new rear lights fit the model which I have 2008..?
~ upgrading the front headlights to the xenon framed ones.. Does this have affecting the standard wiring looms for normal tungsten lamps?

Many thanks...

Look forward to meeting some of you in the future whether it be virtually or in person!

Welcome mate!

I can't offer any assistance with the questions though as I've just joined myself!

The rear lights on 2012 Leon will not fit the 2008 Leon, UNLESS you change your boot lid for a facelift one (2009-). You would also need to pay a dealer to code the lights in.

Installing proper xenons is not cheap. Headlights, motors, ballasts, coding, new wiring etc it soon adds up to over £1000, yes, £1000.

You would be much better off just installing HIDs :) advice can be found using the search function :)
