Afternoon Everyone,

I'll be honest and say I joined this forum pretty much to place a wanted advert...but, I'm not new to forums so I understand that can upset a few people. To try and alleviate some of that, I'll let you all know a bit about me:

SEATs were never really on my radar until I noticed how good the little 6L Ibiza PD 130's were, at the time though they were a little more than I wanted to spend. A few months later though I stumbled across one being sold locally for a very good price (because it had some issues), the plan was to buy it, fix it, scratch the itch and sell it...well, I've owned that car for about 5 years because it's been so good. Also, because I got it cheap I decided to throw some money at it (man logic).

ANYWAY, that was/is my daily but my weekend fun car is an imported Nissan 350GT.

As my little Ibiza has been so good, when my other half said she wanted a 'new' car (she's a bit of a petrol head too), naturally a Mk 2 Leon Cupra came up on the wanted list. Couple of issues here being I am extremely fussy with cars and there is a lot of crap out there  plus there just aren't many Cupras.

So here I am and I'll be placing a wanted advert up soon if I'm allowed.

If anyone would like any pictures of the aforementioned cars, do shout and I'll be happy to share

Welcome to the forum, would love to see some pictures. I used to own a 2006 Nissan 350z GT as a weekend car, it was a lot of fun.

So, the Ibiza looks like this (it was standard, then I modified it with a FMIC, Leon wheels etc etc, then returned it back to mainly standard again):

The 350GT looks like this:

...and the underside of it looks like this:

I tend to have 'projects' that involve stripping the cars down and doing 'light restoration' I suppose you'd call it. The Ibiza has had all the arches/underside cleaned and stone chipped

Welcome buddy, got to love the mk2 cupra/R!

Just got mine in January, there's something about the styling that hooked me.

As it's the other half's driver will there still be modding involved...? Plenty to be had out of them engines!

Could have sworn I replied to this on my phone! Apologies.

She loves how they look, and would prefer a K1 if possible but it's not essential. As for modding, we'll see... personally I'd rather spend the time keeping/getting it immaculate as I think the standard cars are plenty capable for what she needs and wants. However, if some nice used parts came up for sale, I'd consider them. Need to get one first though!
