Hi All, new member here. Have used mainly volkswagen cars but picked up a seat leon FR 1.5 TSI (150hp) from northern ireland a few months back.

I love the car but havent been able to shake the fault code below.

I've had the (what seems to be common issue) EVAP emissions fault code P0441.

My research has both told me to replace either the Charcoal cannister or the purge valve itself (or both).

Does anybody know the best approach to take here? Also, im based in the republic of ireland so wondering if anybody can recommend a place to buy spare parts such as the ones above.

Thanks a million,

Paddy

Hi, yep got it sorted.

Essentially needed to order an activated charcoal container. Cost around 150 pounds.

I fitted it myself, but there’s no real videos online to show you. My seat model I knew it was located behind the rear driver side wheel. I took the wheel off and the inner lining of the wheel slot and voila, it was sitting in there. Once you’re in there, it’s super easy to replace, the majority of the work is just getting into that area. I replaced it and put everything back together and a few power cycles of the engine and the error code was gone and it was fixed.

I’ve attached a picture of what I got, so just buy one and you’re sorted. Hope this helps

Thanks ! Can you remember where you ordered the part from ? I also have a seat leon FR 1.5 TSI 150hp (2020 reg) so hopefully it's in the same position.
