Hi all, I’m a new member. My names Spencer, bought my first SEAT recently and loving it so far, feels like a big upgrade over my 2007 Volkswagen Golf 1.6FSI.
Picked up my White 2019 Leon FR TSI Evo with 54k miles two weeks ago. It’s the 130 engine so not quick but feels a lot nipper than my old 114hp Golf. I’ve already had the TPI software update as I was aware of the “kangarooing” before purchasing from doing research and did notice it suffering from it slightly. Gave it a week or so before taking it in as I wanted to make sure it wasn’t just my clutch control lol. The update seems to have made a noticeable difference during the engine warning phase!
Hoping any questions I have will be answered here, this forum has already helped me replace my passenger side sill kick plate. After removing the plastic trim I discovered it had in-fact come unplugged like suggested. After plugging the connector back in, the kick plate illuminated like it should but I had already ordered a new one incase and the original was dented so looks far better now.
While driving earlier I noticed the collars where the headrests slot into the seats seem to sit quite high, is this normal or is there a way to lower them? I’ve removed the headrests and the collar covers but they will not budge. I find it hard to believe this is normal as on the passenger side you can actually see the seat foam. Any help appreciated.
