Hi,

I just got back from picking up my LCR and thought I should introduce myself as this will, i'm sure, become my new home for answering questions, etc.

I am coming from owning a Honda Integra Type R (actually I still own it as it is still for sale!!) I needed a 4 door car but didn't want anything to bland, the LCR seems to fit the bill perfectly.

The car I bought is a 2003 (52 plate) black, with only 11,000 miles on the clock. 1 lady owner and I am struggling to find a stone chip on it!! :D

1st impressions of the new car are good. Very relaxed to drive and really quiet in the cabin. Coming from the Integra that wouldn't be too hard though! At motorway speeds the LCR seems really strong, I am loving the noise of the turbo spooling up:) The only thing I don't like are the tyres, looking around here the Pirelli's aren't rated well, no real grip in the corners:think:

I have been lurking on this site over the last few weeks gaining the knowledge to buy a decent Leon, just thought I would say Hi.

I'm from near Cambridge. Picked the car up from Stratford on Avon, nice drive home!

should be a wee bit faster than your teg

Probably a close match in a straight line, if anything I would say the teg would just edge it. However in the bends the LCR has nothing on the DC2, but then you would expect it really, as they are very different cars.

great car.... so.... u going to mod it?

I think it sits a bit high, does the LCR respond well to something like the Eibach pro kit springs, matched to origional dampers. This will be my daily driver so I want it to be stealthy, and smooth!!!

my lc has eibach pro dampers and sportline springs. its 20mm lower and firmer on the road but not harsh. the back of the car is less jumpy. ride was great. have 18s on there now and its still not harsh.

it would respond well to a remap too, if you want more power.

loads of info via the search button.

enjoy :funk:
