Love the plates but scratch my head of them being legal. Not for the spacing but cos they don't look reflective. Can u get these reflective to conform with uk laws?

They're illegal whether they're reflective or not, because they are standard UK font and have a disallowed logo on them for a UK registered car.

Look cool as hell though imo :funk:

I have them same, not sure if they're reflective or not because ive never been behind the car when driving it! Think they are though!

I believe so! As long as they arent illegally spaced, no strategically placed black screw caps etc etc etc.

This was taken from :http://www.regtransfers.co.uk/main/car_numberplates_regulations.asp

SUMMARY: What is required and permitted on UK road-legal number plates

Required:
White front plate (to British Standard BS AU 145d)
Yellow rear plate (to British Standard BS AU 145d)
The registration number of the bearer vehicle in the mandatory font (black ‘Charles Wright 2001’)
Spacing of characters and character groups in accordance with the measurements specified in the regulations. Variation is not permitted

Permitted but not required:
3D variation of the mandatory ‘Charles Wright 2001’ font
Coloured, non-reflective border
National emblem: English St George Cross with “ENG” legend, Scottish St Andrew Cross with “SCO” legend, Welsh Dragon with “WALES” and “CYMRU” legend, British Union Flag with “GB” legend) or Euro Stars symbol with “GB” legend.

No additions or variations are permitted. Common illegal variations are:
Fancy or decorative typefaces
Bolts placed in such a way as to alter the appearance of characters
Adjusted spacing between characters or character groups
Altered characters
Additional logos or symbols, such as sporting emblems and religious symbols.

This may sound stupid, but why do the cops pull you over for these if some websites state they are fully road legal?

Wheels are great and plates nice mate but not legal because they aren't the uk font. But if you can get away with it why not it is a Spanish car after all :)

Wheels look real nice, but plates are illegal on all acounts, except the right colour for front and back lol

1) german font
2) non-reflective
3) wrong spacing
4) "E" for espanyol = illegal, only GB allowed IIRC (but 100% sure E is illegal ;) )
5) no BSA stamping on the bottom of plate

I would change the plate if I was you tbh, as it'll stand out like a sore thumb.

But as said, car looks nice :D

Haha, I had to get them as soon as I saw the dubmeister stand at GTi.

They were on my RR thread but took them down as I didnt wanna show my plates for too long.

You can see what my surrounds look like in my thread.

Yeah they look good, had to drill some new holes for the plate surrounds though on the front. Think my step dad was a tad nervous to drill through a new car. He had a thorough check to prove to himself nothing was there lol.
