new question about vagcom

can you set the alarm chirp on the mk3 ibiza guys?

whenever i try to go into the central convenience controller it doesnt find it?? but the engine one works fine??? am i doing something wrong? or does the mk3 not have controller 46?

I have just set this on my mk4 so I would think it ca nbe done on the mk3.

hmm, its weird not many controllers work, the engine one does and the abs controller defo work!

makes me think its something else wrong, because either the lead would or wouldnt work right? surely it cant pick what controller it wants to work with?

Do you have the full version of vag-com or the freeware version?

full version 303.1 and also a free version but neither work, both work on the same controllers but neither work on any others???

Strange, sorry but I cant help any more as some one els done it for me (I still cant get vag-com to work on vista).

for a start the mk3 alarm is the horn, the controller is one of many that isn't available to us

ahhh that sucks!!so weve only got a few controllers we can use then! stupid crappy mk3's

yep but tbh other seats cant do alot more, most of the features are for audis/top end vws
