That will be a PCPers who didn't do their research. A lot of people got the Ateca expecting front parking sensors but didn't do their research so never got them. With a big high vehicle you do need 360 cameras plus the proximity sensors, front and back. Blind spot and rear cross are handy also. When you get older you can't turn your head so much so those little extras make like easier . If you haven't got white lines to park in the proximity sensors are useful... handy on hedgerow now they use soft paint . "Bit of hedgerow there... why isn't that person coming forwards... loads of space" etc.
The logic might be on that "Tablet" is that on the Navigation Plus top of the range it's gesture controlled so it's stuck up there so all the family can wave at it. Positioned like that it will catch the sun so they will sell more of the digital dash ones if that's an option .
