Hey guys, what kind of 225/45 R17s do you recommend? Now I have Bridgestone Turanza T005 which will have to go after this summer, so I am looking around. I was looking at Continental Premiumcontact 6, they are rated good on water, and that's my biggest concern.
Thanks in advance

If you can find them at a good price go with Goodyear asymmetric 5. At that size I have found them at £75 per tyre fitted. Generally speaking they perform similarly to both continental PC6 and Michelin PS4. They are also rated well for mileage equivalent to Michelin which tend to be leaders when it comes to performance and mileage. I had 2 fitted on my Leon unfortunately after 1k my mrs swerved to avoid another car and blew the left. She replaced it with a Hankook v12 evo2 as that was the best they had available by the mobile service she called.

We put four PS4s on my wife's car, replacing the Bridgestones, and I'm very impressed with them. Don't seem to have any weaknesses and dry grip seems noticeably better.
