enjoyed my 1st actual full drive in it to work although boring (M1 roadworks) but found the drive to be really smooth,
when I looked at the car i loved the alloys but didn't take much notice until this morning noticed they were 18" not the 17" i was expecting,

Does anyone recognise these SEAT alloys

I got Full Link activated on the car as I use Waze all the time and its great to have it through the display.

my only issue was this morning coming to work suddenly the full link stopped and phone stopped charging, plugged into the 2nd USB port and that started working but shortly after it also cut out and neither port would work,
after getting to work and sorting out i went back out to the car and the ports were working again and Android Auto engaged and loaded Waze, Has anyone else has any issues with this.

Regards

Joe

Welcome to Leon ownership!

Those are the Titanium alloys. I have them on my 2016 FR and were an optional upgrade when ordering. Think they were around £900 if i remember correctly. I think some Leon's were sold as FR Titanium models and came with these alloys and side skirts/spoiler.

Regarding full link it can sometimes be a pain to connect. Mine has stopped working a couple of times and I had to restart my phone. Maybe just keep an eye on it and if it continues take it back.

Thanks mate,
Quick google search for FR Titanium alloys and bang there they are, well cannot complain at that upgrade on the car.
Yeah I have emailed the dealership about my issues and said I will keep an eye on it and how it goes moving forward,

Also does anyone recommend a decent phone holder, I have a Huawei P30 Pro and was using a CD slot mount previously but now the CD slot is in the Glove box that's not an option, I don't like anything stuck to the windscreen and found the magnetic ones useless and falls off when hit a bump, I don't like to leave the phone loose in compartment it bangs about a bit

Welcome to the forum, pictures are also not koading for me unfortunately.
How strange
Loading for me on Web via pc and phone

Looking for decent phone mount for the car. Not a fan of magnetic ones and don't want anything on windscreen or on top of dash

Tried uploading the 3 pics again

I also believe I have found the cause of full link disconnecting.
My phone is a Huawei P30 Pro.
It seems that is has cut out when the phone his 100% charge. As with modern phones when the battery is at 100% it turns off the USB port so that it doesn't overcharge the battery.
Now to look for a resolve around this without rooting the phone.

Oh, how did you manged to get these 18 inch Titanium alloys on an SE Dynamic, where the 'Dynamic' wheels has been replaced with the 'Titanium' wheels from the FR Titanium. Essentially you have a SE Titanium Technology :) :). Don't get me wrong, the wheels are nice, but they look nicer on a FR, as the gap in the wheel arches are a lot smaller on the FR..

Haha No idea,

I only got the car Wednesday, they were the ones on the car, but I love them,
It feels so much more responsive than my Toledo 1.2 TSI, 5bhp more but wouldn't make it feel that much different,
besides phone holder an early job is researching Dashcam's and fitting it,
i have to navigate the M1 daily and well some of the driving I see, feel I will need one for my own safety the number of brake checks I see and alot seem completely unprovoked esp when one has only just joined the M1 and starts doing it to people.

Thanks buddy but thats one that is for the windscreen,
Looks like ill end up paying out for a brodit one, but for the 2 parts its quite expensive

Look out for an Aukey Vent Mount. It’s magnetic and I have an Aukey Magnetic pad on the back of my phone case which attaches to it.

It has never works loose or fallen off, no matter how it’s driven.

Oh and I have an iPhone XR with a hefty battery case pack fitted which is quite weighty.

well I have managed to get my old CD slot mount to fit in the car, using the lip under the screen

Had to use a bit of glue to hold it onto the edge above but nothing a quick tidy up and some black paint on glue wont hide (once i get round to it)
Least it gives me a back up for when Full link disconnects and i can open Waze on my phone instead.

You glued something to the interior trim of your car :scary:
How yes and no.
Working for an IT / ATM repairer. I have got foam sticky gaskets used for apple imac screen bonding either side of the glue .
But also have tools to remove the gaskets and glue from any surface . But have so plans to move car on any time soon

Wish I could have the nice big screen and android auto, looks so nice

I have a brodit clip in mine, that wedges under the left side vent and can be glued, but I went with just leaving it wedged.

I looked at the brodit one but the cost was pretty high.
Android auto is nice when full link is working.

I only have the adapter, I added my own holder to the face plate as the phone specific holders were silly money and my basic clamp that works with any phone doesn't need changing unless I get a stupid big phone next
