? did you disconnect the battery for an ecu reset ? dunno why but driveforwards went even better once we did his - i guess the recordings were all FMIC after
 
yeah prob best to cut it out just wondering do i need the radio code if i disconnect the battery for it to wrk again or does it remember it as it has not been taken out
 
oh rite cool just wanted to make sure as didnt want to be with out a radio this rob recons hes fitted this intercooler with cutting anyfing just cant see how tho

i didnt reset the ecu afterwards no. got in, drove it, felt like it pulled alot harder straight away

Hi rob, ive been reading through ur thread & i was jus wondering wot size bore i would need for the above pipework?
 
pics dont work for me either, but i kind of agree with craig on this subjct!

i first had the forge cooler on mine running roughly just over 200bhp and it was fine! i then upgraded to IHI over 300BHP and the forge one coudlt handle it. The intake temps were through the roof so i invested in the jabba pro alloy one and its a bigger core and works alot better for the set up iv got.
not slating any of these do it your self ones etc but in my opinion you pay for what you get and seems to be working fine with mine.
 
I think you could make your own FMIC for cheap and work just as good as jabbas. Hopefully i will prove this shortly!

intercoolers are expensive because they are made to fit the car spot on , i have had cheapo intercoolers and they work fine , with good intake temps as well , forge even do cheap universal intercoolers , payed £180 or so for one when i bought it from forge cant remember a exact price but it was cheap , it works out better to get a universal one from forge , any sizes as well .
