New Toys: Stage 2 Here I Come

Time to pull my finger out and get this little lot fitted.

Toyo FMIC
INA Mani (Thanks to Will)
35w 6000k HIDS
TRS tow strap
Powerflow gasket (on the way)
Then Stage 2 with SPS

I will be fitting everything bar the INA mani which will be getting done while I'm on holiday.

Iv made up the pipework to how it should fit although i will probably fine out different when fitting. Can anyone confirm it looks about right?

Comments, hints and tips are very welcome!

You'll need the hids to see further, when going faster

Just put the hids in. Just securing the ballasts now. Probably secure them like this chap.

Although thats metal he has securing the one on drivers side or does it not matter what surface as long as they are secure.

Goes from 2.5 inch (larger side) to 2 inch on the smaller side.

What's the tow strap all about? I'm pretty sure I saw one on Ape's car and It looks sweet!

I want a red one but how does it fit etc? Do you lose your grill where it's fitted?

Its all about the tow strap! Not sure if its the same fitment on the lcr but you dont lose the grill on a lc.

Hopefully it will look sweet, getting it on soon!

Fitted it! Took it up the road and seems ok apart from a few things iv noticed:

• I have developed a rattle coming from under the bonnet, somethings loose somewhere, hopefully it will disappear on its own!
  
  
• Also when on boost seems to be a larger whooshing and whistling than before i put the fmic on.
  
  
• Another is that on the hot side where piping goes down past the battery the pipe is coming into contact with the top water/coolant hose. That hose get very hot anyway but will it matter if the piping is in contact??

Put the tow strap in although im not too sure now, looks lie its got wonky eyes!

Looing now into getting DV relocated as its all a bit close around that area especially with the strut brace and piping!

Overall im quite happy with how it looks, although it is very prominent so may look at spraying it black. Performance wise, will post in a few days. Then stage 2 end of October.
