I converted to V power a few months back after only using Tesco crap,
This week I used Tesco again as it was all that was available at the time.
Tesco fuel doesn't last as long as V power, thats for sure. My LCR runs far better on V power
See mines the opposite, cars are funny things lol
I have heard nothing (recently) but negative about these bigger smic.

I've used a few full tanks of Momentum 99 before from my regular V Power and the only thing I noticed was around the exhaust, it was covered a lot more in sooty deposits than when on the V Power.
Performance wise, noticed no difference. My car was mapped on V Power.
For me they're both very good and I'd happily use either over and over.

I also noticed this, seemed to make my egt's higher too, I'd expect that from a slightly higher octane but for what I could tell no gain over v power....
Why do you think higher octane would increase EGTs? Wouldn't it be the other way around? The higher octane allows for more advanced timing, meaning the burn is more likely to have finished before exhaust valves opening?
The higher octane allows for more heat. The lower octane will have to run cooler to avoid knock.
