Thanks for having a look in.

Tomorrow im going looking / test driving a 1.6tdi, and getting all the prices and monthly cost's. I currently have a 1.6 16v mk4 golf, and will be trading / scrapping it (1999 V).

Im just wanting to get a few prices that people have been offerd / payed/ing, so that when i go tomorrow i can decide if the price im given is a good price or not.

Many thanks in advance

Ben.

I paid just under £12k for my 5dr with metallic paint, 17's electric folding mirrors, and cruise control (also got a set of mats thrown in for free, but thats standard now anyway)

I went to my dealer yesterday to price up changing to a 1.6 CR TDI Ibiza. They wouldn't offer any discount on the price and offered £8.5k in part exchange for my mint condition 08 Leon 1.4 TSI reference sport with 26k miles. Wasn't too impressed.

jsut over 14k for a 3door, with metalic paint, climate control, 17" black wheels and panaramic roof. will have a shop around now, and see what price other stealers will give me.

I got a quote for £14750 before scrappage for 1.6TDI 5 dr, metallic black, convenience pack, esp pack, 17" wheels, Climate control and Cruise control. Also a free tank of fuel :) as I say thats with scrappage though so im sure you could get a bit better without using scrappage.

£12750 with scrappage though!! :)

Candy white 5dr Ibiza Sport, 1.6 CR TDI.

Black 17inch alloys
ESP
Climate control
Con pack
Folding mirrors
Window tints
Bluetooth
USB
Cruise control
Tank of fuel

£13150 with scrappage included, also got 12.5k for my Leon FR with 25k on the clock which I was pretty happy with. :)

Emotion Red 3dr Ibiza Sport, 1.6 CR TDI.

Standard 17inch alloys
ESP
Climate control
Folding mirrors
Bluetooth
iPod/USB
Cruise control

£13100 - no scrappage, no part ex. Put £1k deposit down, works out about £269 a month for 3 years.

I see. I was going to do the same but the payment difference was so minor and having to either flog it after 3 years or re-finance for another three years would have made no difference to me. I do such little mileage living in London anyway that I can afford to keep the car that long so went for straight finance over 5 years.
