Newbie after some infomation

Hi, i'm interested in the leon cupra's (speciffically the MK2) i was just wondering if i could get some info on any probs you guys have had with them or general faults across the seat range.

At the moment I'm driving a Rover 25 TDI which i've got running at 160BHP (not bad as its 113 BHP as factory standard), but before I started to mod it its caused me a lot of problems that cost me an arm and leg.

I've had a scout around the forums, problem is that very often it only seems negative because people are looking to get their problems fixed.

Are you guys enjoying the cars? What are the easy Mods? I've seen a thread about chipping the cars and few of you seem to be getting 300+ BHP which is great.

Basically I'm after infomation that you can only get from people once they've been driving them for a while, so any info on probs or perks would be great.

no wet windows, no misted lights, no mirror sqeaks, no dodgy radios, no trim problems, no seat belt rattles, no glove box rattles, slight rattle behind radio but only when the heating is up to sauna mode, and most importantly for me, not a single mechanical issue.
the only (slight) downside, you will get about 300 miles out of £45 of juice, and i seem to get more mpg than alot of cupra owners on here.
other than that buy one, i'm sure you wont regret it.

Had mine 6 months nearly. Fantastic car, really pleased . No mechanical mods. Only had to take it back to a dealer once with a warning light on dash that needed removing.

What parking sensor kit did you go for mate and who fitted it for you? Got any pics?

Just went for whatever the dealer suplied and fitted (David Cook Motors in Oldham). Cost £235. The only pics I have were posted in the link below but are grainy cos they were taken on my mobile. I have seen some much better pics in other links......
