Hi everyone.

Long time lurker on the forums but i've decided to make an account to ask questions, gain knowledge, hang out etc.

I've got myself a 2008 Ibiza mk4 sport 1.4 100hp petrol 3dr which i've had for a year and a bit. I wanted to get the 1.8t FR but insurance is still too high for me. Really doubt that I will get it now since they're getting rarer and more expensive each year now.

Definitely keeping this car for a few years unless the engine blows or I win the lottery :D

I've started to do my own servicing and probably going to do little mods here and there to spruce the car up.

List of potential mods/fixes I want to do:

FR/Sportrider rear bumper
Vinyl behind front reg plate (so it looks like FR bumper)
HID/Xenons (or just white headlights)
Shark fin aerial
Polo rear wiper conversion mod
Window tints
Parking sensors
Twinpipe exhaust tip
Paint brake calipers
Formula Sport diamond stitch seats
Fix cupholder/interior trim panels and handles
Fix heater blower resistor (managed to fix this so might post a guide if i have the time)
New gearknob/pedals

List above is incomplete but is everything from the top of my head.

Welcome to the Forum I do like a nice Ibiza, What color and when you get some time put up some pics.

Have you thought about lowering it a small amount I always think the Seats look better lowered (not all the way down just a bit lower)

My daughter has a 2010 Ibiza FR in Yellow and I have to say they are great motors.

Enjoy the car.

I've got it in red, not sure of the exact name or colour code. Its joke nickname is Ferrari

Never thought about lowering it. It would look good but sounds expensive. I'm a broke student so i probably wont. Might be a blessing in disguise with the harsh ride over our pothole riddled roads.

Pics shall come when the mods start to come together.

Cheers i'm enjoying it everyday.

If you get into modding you will find there are cheap options and expensive ones.

One way to keep the cost down is to buy second hand ones but that's all for later when you can put your student skills to work for money.
